Yes. Pearl Electric installs Level 2 EV charging stations (240V) for all vehicle brands. We handle the dedicated circuit, outlet or hardwired connection, and all required permits.
A GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet protects against shock by cutting power when it detects an imbalance in current. The National Electrical Code requires GFCI outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, outdoors, basements, and near swimming pools. If your home lacks GFCI protection in these areas, call Pearl Electric for an upgrade.
Signs of outdated or unsafe wiring include: aluminum wiring (common in homes built 1965–1973), knob-and-tube wiring (pre-1950s), a 60-amp or 100-amp panel in a home with modern appliances, frequent tripped breakers, flickering lights, burning smells, or discolored outlets. Call Pearl Electric for a home electrical safety inspection.
